Their simulators are currently being utilized by elite units such as Navy SEALs, the Air Force, and Marine Special Forces.


The Role:


As the company expands its training capabilities, they are looking for a talented Technical Artist to join the team. This is an opportunity to contribute to a brand-new project, designed from the ground up. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and artists to bridge the gap between technology and art, ensuring that the visual quality and performance are optimized across all their military training simulations. Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement visual assets, shaders, and VFX to meet high-quality standards.
  • Optimize game assets to ensure the best possible performance without compromising visual fidelity.
  • Collaborate with both artists and engineers to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth integration of assets.
  • Contribute to the design and development of tools and pipelines for the art team.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior artists and developers.
  • Work on innovative, highly detailed simulations for military training.
  • Influence the artistic and technical roadmap for the project.


Requirements:


  • 5-10 years of experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry.
  • background and experience in art and design.
  • Strong proficiency with Unity.
  • Solid understanding of shader programming and rendering techniques.
  • Experience optimizing high-detail environments for performance in console or PC games.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented design patterns and game development principles.
  • Hands-on experience with C# or C++.
  • Exposure to military strategy, FPS, or vehicle-driven games is a plus.
  • Knowledge of VR or experience working with simulators would be highly valued.
  • Prior military experience would be considered advantageous.
