Manufacturing Technician - Electronics

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test incoming electronic components and hardware to ensure conformity to standards.
  • Assemble sub-systems and final products using tools like jigs, adhesives, and soldering equipment.
  • Calibrate and test electronic assemblies in line with work instructions and quality requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of build and test data using internal systems and documentation.
  • Manage personal work orders via the company ERP system.
  • Adhere to quality and quarantine processes and contribute to overall product excellence.
  • Foster cross-functional understanding by collaborating with different teams.
  • Champion safety and compliance with HSE protocols at all times.


Desired Skills and Attributes

  • Hands-on experience with electronic hardware and testing tools.
  • Proficient soldering skills (IPC-610 standard).
  • High level of attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality.
  • Familiarity with WHS and ISO9001 quality systems.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and housekeeping skills.
  • Strong computer literacy including Excel, Outlook, and ERP or processing software.
  • Demonstrated initiative, decision-making skills, and a proactive work ethic.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Exposure to Six Sigma or 5S work practices highly regarded.
