This role is ideal for an experienced software engineering leader with deep expertise in AI and ML, particularly in personalisation and real-time customer engagement SaaS products. The Opportunity

The role involves leading the local software development team while collaborating with global Product, Engineering, and Customer teams. The focus is on developing and deploying AI-driven personalisation and real-time engagement solutions that enhance user experiences and optimise marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Australian software development team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Architect, develop, and deploy AI/ML-driven personalisation systems that power real-time customer interactions and predictive engagement.
• Collaborate with global teams to enhance platform capabilities, integrating cutting-edge machine learning and automation technologies.
• Work closely with customer-facing teams to translate business needs into scalable AI-powered solutions.
• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring emerging AI/ML technologies, optimising system performance, and experimenting with new approaches.

What’s Needed

• Proven leadership experience, managing and mentoring software development teams in a SaaS environment.
• Strong expertise in AI, machine learning, and personalisation technologies, with a focus on real-time customer engagement solutions.
• Deep understanding of natural language processing (NLP), deep learning, and large-scale data processing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in cloud-based AI/ML environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with real-time data processing, recommendation systems, and scalable system architectures.
• A passion for solving complex problems and delivering AI-powered digital experiences.
• Strong communication skills, bridging technical and business discussions effectively.
