The Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and functional user experiences across a variety of platforms. This role requires a forward-thinking designer who understands the intricacies of human-centred design and how to balance aesthetics with usability. The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life, from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about improving user experiences to contribute to the development of impactful products that shape how people interact with technology.


Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, user-centred interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive product visions.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.


Requirements

  • Gaming experience is a must. VR experience is considered a big bonus.
  • 4+ years UX or interactive Design experience. Someone with close experience to product ownership or UX/UI design. Art and tech mind/background.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Strong understanding of interaction design principles and user psychology.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of front-end development is an asset but not required.
  • Experience with UI implementation (working with UI frames, Units, etc) is a big plus
  • A US military background is considered a plus.
