Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the Corporate Sales team across venues, driving inbound and outbound sales.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives aligned with company growth targets.
  • Manage a personal portfolio of B2B clients, fostering client retention and satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary brand ambassador, maintaining and nurturing corporate client relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and implement lead generation strategies.
  • Lead tender proposals for government and private contracts with cross-department collaboration.
  • Support seamless event execution, ensuring venues meet company standards for presentation.
  • Foster relationships with event suppliers, negotiating contracts to align with budget goals.
  • Mentor, coach, and conduct performance reviews for the Corporate Sales team.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, representing the company at events and networking opportunities.


Desired Skills and Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years in corporate sales, ideally with B2B or events industry experience.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and delivering on growth strategies.
  • Established network within Sydney’s corporate and government sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with a commitment to team development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database management.
