Company Overview:


My client is a pioneering organisation focused on transforming the landscape of medium voltage applications through their innovative Medium Voltage Connector System (MVCS). Their mission is to enable autonomous and remote operations while providing real-time condition monitoring across a diverse range of industrial environments, including renewable energy, heavy industry, mining, tunnelling, oil & gas, and power transmission.



Role Objectives:


The Internal Sales and Quality Assurance Specialist will play a vital role in driving sales growth while ensuring adherence to quality standards and processes. This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the Medium Voltage Connector System (MVCS) offerings, ensuring that both sales and quality assurance functions align with the company’s mission of delivering innovative and reliable solutions to clients.


Key Responsibilities:


Internal Sales:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the medium voltage sector.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and forecasts.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and product demonstrations to potential clients.


Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of sales processes and product quality.
  • Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of quality management procedures and policies.


Skills and Qualifications:


Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in internal sales, with a preference for candidates who have worked in electrical engineering, mining, or related industries.
  • Proven exposure to quality assurance practices and familiarity with relevant ISO standards, with ISO certification being highly desirable.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.


Sales Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
