The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Assistant to contribute to the success of a dynamic team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role focuses on supporting marketing campaigns, managing digital and print materials, and fostering brand growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for marketing, exceptional organisational skills, and a desire to bring innovative ideas to life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media and traditional marketing).
- Manage social media platforms, including scheduling posts and engaging with audiences.
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and presentations.
- Conduct market research to support product development and promotional strategies.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Assist with content creation for websites, blogs, social media and other digital platforms.
- Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
- Help with event planning, promotion, and preparation.
Requirements:
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and content management systems.
- Solid experience with WordPress, SEO, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Hootesuite, MailChimp, CMS and more.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- B2B experience is a plus.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
