The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Assistant to contribute to the success of a dynamic team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role focuses on supporting marketing campaigns, managing digital and print materials, and fostering brand growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for marketing, exceptional organisational skills, and a desire to bring innovative ideas to life.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media and traditional marketing).
  • Manage social media platforms, including scheduling posts and engaging with audiences.
  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and presentations.
  • Conduct market research to support product development and promotional strategies.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
  • Assist with content creation for websites, blogs, social media and other digital platforms.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
  • Help with event planning, promotion, and preparation.


Requirements:

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Solid experience with WordPress, SEO, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Hootesuite, MailChimp, CMS and more.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
  • B2B experience is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
