The Role:
The Marketing Data Specialist is a pivotal role for analytical minds passionate about turning data into actionable insights. This position involves analysing and interpreting campaign data, identifying trends, and creating comprehensive reports to inform strategic marketing decisions. Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret marketing data to track campaign performance.
- Implement and maintain major data platforms, tags, triggers, and variables in Google Tag manager.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify key trends and provide actionable recommendations to enhance marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams to set measurable objectives and KPIs for campaigns.
- Monitor the performance of paid and organic campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and social media.
- Conduct A/B testing to optimise marketing strategies and content.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data collected and presented.
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 4+ years experience in a Data Specialist role or similar.
- Solid experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn Ads, Meta, Google Cloud Console, Hubspot, CRM platforms, and more.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with SEO, CRO, and reporting tools is an asset.
- Agency experience.
- Solid experience implementing complex e-commerce data-tracking initiatives, server-side tracking, consent management platforms (CMP) implementation and more.
