Senior Ai Engineer

Job description

They are seeking a visionary and hands-on Senior AI Engineer to drive AI adoption, integrating deep learning, large language models (LLMs), and next-generation AI agents into real-world applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy AI applications using large language models (LLMs).
  • Structure and validate data using libraries like Pydantic.
  • Create APIs with frameworks such as FastAPI to connect front-end applications with AI-driven backends.
  • Utilise task queues like Celery to distribute workloads efficiently.
  • Ensure the reliability and robustness of AI applications.
  • Monitor AI application performance with tools like Langfuse or LangSmith.
  • Implement retrieval-augmented generation using vector databases.
  • Manage prompts using templating engines such as Jinja.
  • Develop comprehensive error-handling and monitoring strategies.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions, including production deployment.


Desired Skills and Attributes

  • Strong software engineering skills, including experience with web applications, web hooks, and triggers.
  • Proficiency in Python and AI-related libraries (e.g., Pydantic, Instructor, PDF parsers).
  • Understanding of containerisation (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with vector databases (MongoAtlas).
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with monitoring tools for LLM applications (Langfuse, LangSmith).
  • Expertise in structured data extraction and validation.
