Key Responsibilities

• Assess manufacturability of new products and recommend design and process improvements.
• Support production teams by providing technical expertise to minimise stoppages and meet targets.
• Conduct root cause analysis on failures and drive improvements in quality and process reliability.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate and adopt advanced manufacturing processes.
• Perform product repairs and train technicians to enhance production capabilities.
• Lead the implementation of new products into production, ensuring quality and readiness.
• Contribute to the development of robust quality systems in alignment with organisational goals.
• Actively promote and enforce workplace safety standards.

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering, with 10+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Expertise in manufacturing advanced mechanical and electronic technology products.
• Proficiency in supplier collaboration and management, including knowledge of PCBA, MEMs, optics, and related areas.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail in documentation.
• Exceptional time management and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of WHS practices and a commitment to fostering a safe work culture.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in a high-performance environment.
