The Role

 

This position is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking team as a Systems Generalist. The role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the company's internal systems, encompassing a broad range of responsibilities from troubleshooting and support to implementing new solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing system performance and driving technological initiatives that align with the company's mission of promoting wellness and operational excellence.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and maintain in-house systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their technological needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Implement new software, hardware, and systems as required, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct regular system audits and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and protocols for future reference.
  • Provide training and support to staff on system usage and best practices.

 

Requirements

 

  • Proven experience in a similar role, or with Workflow Management systems.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and related technologies. 
  • Database proficiency and SQL experience is a necessity. 
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with data security and backup solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
  • Engineering Degree or similar.
