A leading supplier of intelligent drives for commercial and industrial motor control applications, providing solutions to increase productivity, save energy, and reduce operating costs. The company integrates technology and engineering to deliver customer-centric solutions is looking for a Technical Manager.


Purpose of the Opportunity:


The Technical Manager will be responsible for:

• Pre-sales support for customers (application support, technical support)

• Technical Sales Support – Preparation of technical specifications based on products and systems solutions for bidding documents

• First Line of Response for Drives

• Post Sales Support (onsite interventions, troubleshooting, maintenance)

• Management of the Repair Center in Australia


Job Description & Specifications:


  • Provide technical support to customers and sales team, including presentations, demos, training, technical clarification of specifications and scope of supply, product selection, configuration, drawings & diagrams creation, cost calculation, parameter setting, commissioning, programming, and site testing.
  • Collaborate with the local sales team to meet customer requirements.
  • Utilize internal technical expertise, including higher-level engineers, knowledge bases, and other tools, to provide effective solutions to customer issues.
  • Conduct site visits to investigate technical problems.
  • Provide product seminars for customers.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing and industry collaterals such as solution and application know-how in specific industries.
  • Offer service support, including on-site supervision for installation, commissioning, testing, training, and site services.
  • Handle complaints and claims, and perform primary assessments of issues.
  • Support the warranty process.
  • Prepare claim reports and relay cases to the service department.
  • Follow up after-sales cases with service engineers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) as requested and keep service files and records.
  • Manage the Repair Centre for Australia Drive Centre.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • University degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in driving commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with field bus communication settings.
  • Knowledge of various machine applications.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Effective time and priority management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Resilient, persistent, independent, and tenacious.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
